Black Out , designed by Matteo Ugolini for Karman, is a floor lamp with a scenic and original design.
Its shape recalls a large luminous cocoon , created through a weave of fiberglass filaments that delicately lets the light filter through.
The structure is made of painted metal and a large fiberglass lampshade, available in the white or transparent version.
The workmanship creates a light and irregular texture, transforming the lamp into a real decorative element even when it is turned off.
Black Out combines electric light with a nod to traditional candlelight .
It is in fact possible to add the appropriate candle holder accessory , creating an even warmer and more evocative atmosphere.
The floor version measures Ø 60 × H 180 cm and uses 3 E27 bulbs , with a maximum power of 52 W each.
The light source is not included.
